SA Optimizer Includes Scheduled Proactive Maintenance
Monthly system monthly optimization and security review, Health monitoring + managed virus protection, discounts for incidental service requests
You are currently enrolled to the Optimizer service.
This service provides discounts for services provided outside of the monthly service dates.
Occasionally a customer will encounter a need for service outside the scheduled maintenance date or may not have their system turned on at the scheduled time of service. Although we do our best to send notifications, it is understandable that on occasion customers may not be able to have their system online at the time of service. In some situations a customer might encounter a need for service that cannot wait for the next scheduled service date. Incidental service falling outside a scheduled service date is billed at a discounted rate.
The following explains why the monthly maintenance service is not provided outside the scheduled period. The exception is for customers enrolled to the enhanced service which includes a generous number if incidental service calls in addition to the scheduled monthly service.
Under your service agreement a system optimization is performed each month at the scheduled time of service. The standard rate for the optimization service is $199.00 when provided to outside of the service agreement. The optimization process incorporates several tasks to help ensure the system is running its best. A utility is launched to inspect the system for corruption, unnecessary application loads, and application updates. Corrections are implemented based on the findings of the utilities. The system is then inspected for potential security risks, and reviewed for potential hardware failure, and unsafe thermal conditions. The average time required to complete an optimization can be up to three hours per system.

10 systems @ 3 Hours each = 30 Hours
Using an example of 10 computers, if the service was provided independently for each system, the time required to complete service would be roughly 30 hours. Providing one by one unscheduled service would prevent offering the managed service at the current rate.

10 systems simultaneously = 3 Hours
To keep the cost down for service agreement customers, the maintenance is conducted on multiple systems simultaneously and discounts are provided for service needed outside of the scheduled service days.
This process allows the current cost of managed service saving each managed service customer more than more than $2,000 per year in billable service.
